Celebrate the Contributions from California Beta Sigma Phi members

 
At the 2020 to 2021 California State Convention, donations will be presented to our four statewide philanthropic projects during a weekend of fun and fellowship.  Presentations will be made to the Lupus Foundation of Northern CA, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Scleroderma Foundation, and Kidney Research Fund at Stanford.

SCC Accepts donations for:

  • Mable Saslow Educational Scholarship Fund
  • United Scleroderma Foundation
  • Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
  • Bay Area Lupus
  • Beta Sigma Phi Kidney Research Fund at Stanford

Sacramento City Council puts on a Crab Feed fundraiser each Spring to raise funds to donate to selected charities.  In the past few years, the funds raised have been donated to the Sutter Breast Cancer Navigator Program and the four statewide charities listed below.

California members have chosen to support the following four organizations listed below in addition to those they support locally.  As of 2016, over $5 million has been donated to the following organizations

  • Lupus Foundation of Northern California
  • United Scleroderma Foundation
  • Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
  • Kidney Research at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford

Additionally, our parent organization oversees the Beta Sigma Phi Endowment Fund which provides donations to a large number of organizations annually.
