Meetings are held 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm
Members live in the greater Sacramento area, and 1 member in both Roseville and Elk Grove.

We currently have 13 members and are mostly in our late 50s to 70s.  We have a member in here 80s, but she acts younger than all of us!

Our chapter is very active in Beta Sigma Phi and Sacramento City Council. We have several members who have served or are currently serving on the SCC board, and we all enjoy their many events.

Our primary fundraiser is our Spring and Fall English Tea. WE roll out fine china for our guest, who enjoy and afternoon of delicious food, cheery conversation and piping hot tea brewed just right. Guests come casual or come wearing a beautiful hat, either way is fine with us. All are pampered in proper English style.

If you’re curious about what we do with 90 percent of our fundraising proceeds, we will proudly list just a few of the organizations we support: WEAVE, Wellspring Women’s Center, Meals on Wheels, Blue Star Moms, Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home, Sacramento Crisis Nursery, Loaves and Fishes, Homes for Our Troops, and many others. There are other organizations we have supported by doing things like making blankets for the Linus Project or knitting for Knitted Knockers.

Our social committee is always busy putting together outings that invoke cultural learing, fun nights out, or relaxing movies. Our members enjoy a three day retreat each year. It gives us and opportunity to experience a new location, take in the sights, eat the food, play games and believe it or not… learn something new about each other every single year. 🙂
